The secret of king's meal !

 It’s not a good idea to stay empty stomach log long. Instead, have smart meals. Calculate your BMR (Basal Metabolic rate) by browsing on the internet and know your calories intake.

There's an old saying: “Breakfast like a king; lunch like a prince; dinner like a pauper.”

So let’s talk about breakfast, why is it important to break our fast?

It is important to break the overnight fasting period. You must have heard our grandmother yelling at our generation for not having heavy breakfast. I believe you all must have faced it. Even then most of us go to college, school and at our working place without breaking our fast.

It should be the heaviest meal one should have in the entire day. It replenishes the supply of glucose to boost our attentiveness and energy level and provides essential nutrients for good health.

Well, what if we divide your three major meals into 5 or more meals. Then most of us will be thinking instead of maintaining our calorie intake, we will end up overeating.

Then for those, on an average normal diet of a person is  :

Breakfast: 2 chapatis

Lunch : 3 chapatis

Dinner: 2 chapatis

TOTAL = 7  chapatis

If we divide it into five meals.

Breakfast = 1  chapati

Noon mid meal = half chapati

Lunch = 1 Chapati

Post lunch meal= half chapati

Dinner = half chapati

Total = Three and half chapatis

You can see this consumption pattern. These mid meals will help you to get rid of overeating and munching.Mid meals are very light meals maybe a handful of nuts or any fruit. You should have your dinner at least two or three hours before going to the bed. On regular basis, we come across many fasting plans be it Intermittent fasting, seasonal and macronutrient restriction etc.

Reminder: Don’t forget to drink water. Read more (https://eatandburntostayfitandhealthy.blogspot.com/2020/10/how-about-being-water-friendly.html)
